An Introduction to Plein Air Painting, June 20 – 21, 2012

This two day workshop has been created on behalf of the Leelanau Conservancy.

The workshop will be hosted by Tom and Marsha Buehler, owners of the picturesque 19th Century Cherry Basket Farm in Omena Michigan.

Focus of the workshop will be onĀ  creating successful compositions by; Interpreting a three-dimensional landscape onto a flat surface; Creating depth and atmosphere; Simplifying what you see. Working within a framal reference, Managing large masses, maintaining and supporting a focus. Coffee and lunch are provided for both days.
